Official!!! Love the first post Andy informative, challenging, and well written. I actually didn't hear about their donation to Iraq (although I did hear about Brad being seen with Jennifer Anniston that says something about our media) you are exactly right that should be a wake up call to Christians… a challenge even. I was reading in the book of James that "True Religion" was feeding the homeless, caring for the orphans, doing the stuff that so many Christians hesitate to do. Although our prayers availeth much why do we over spriritualize the physical needs of people. We should always pray about situations but we should not stop there lets see if we can help. I know the first thing people will say but "I don't have money" maybe its not a matter of your money, maybe its your time. Sadly most people are less willing to part with their time than they are with their money.Thanks for the food with thought. If you find a website to make donations on let me know.

I just finished Claiborne's book "Irresistible Revolution" and he definitely makes you think about your use of time and resources. I do admire some of the charitable things that Pitt and Jolie do, in spite of their building a family without the benefit of marriage. But I agree, Christians should be in the forefront. They are out there, just not with all the celebrity fanfare usually.
