Gay Publication Reviews My Book

Here is a link I just saw from the Dallas Voice (“The Premier Media Source for LGBT Texas” ), who printed a review of my book back in August.

I was very humbled by the author, a gay Jewish man, honest assessment of where he thought I was coming from. I know he doesn’t agree with some of what I said, but he saw my heart. I appreciate his words greatly because everyday I try as hard as I can to give as much dignity as possible to the gay community, to The Marin Foundation’s work, to this journey and especially to God. There is no bigger compliment I can receive from gays and lesbians.

At the end of the day I am still convinced that pure and peaceful intentions always shine through when lived out in real time – even through some of the unintended mistakes.

Much love.

Great response from Texas…. I appreciate your heart in all of these things too, though my faith is strained…. Love never fails, and may you never fail either in the pursuit of the lost unto the Savior.
