On Tuesday, May 10th, we will be meeting at 4003 N. Kenmore Ave. Apt. 3 in Chicago at 6:30pm to watch ‘Becoming Chaz’ and ‘Our America with Lisa Ling: Transgender Lives’. We’re going to grab a bite to eat there before watching ‘Transgender Lives’ at 7pm and then ‘Becoming Chaz’ as it is premiering on Oprah’s network OWN at 8. If you haven’t heard about it, ‘Becoming Chaz’ follows Sonny & Cher’s child as he goes through the process of gender reassignment and Lisa Ling follows the lives of five trans individuals in ‘Transgender Lives’ that previously aired on OWN.

What’d people think of the show? What kinds of reactions did you receive from your group? Unfortunately, I had paperwork to do and was unable to catch the showing of “Becoming Chaz”.
Well, you still have a chance to watch it as it airs tonight on OWN at 8pm CST right after ‘Transgender Lives’.
