1-27-10:

Then God continued: “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.” Daniel 10:12

There are few messages within the Bible that top the overwhelming emotions I feel when I read this—that when one humbly learns to seek understanding before God, God hears; and then God responds. I wrap myself around these words of truth from God as I continue trying as best as I can to move throughout this confusing life.

There is an interesting correlation between renouncing sins, being kind to the oppressed and Kingdom prosperity. Daniel 4:27

When your haters can’t find anything wrong with you they just make stuff up and tell the highest influencers to try to ruin you. Daniel 6:5

Then God sees a pure intended heart and rights the wrong in miraculous ways. Daniel 6:21-23

1-19-10:

So overlooked: Daniel, Shadrach, Meshack and Abendnego all committed themselves to be intellectual learners; not just faithful servants. Daniel 1

A person’s true character reveals itself in how they explain their circumstances – good and bad. Daniel 2:17-28

“The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed…it will itself endure forever.” Daniel 2:44

Ever find it funny how Daniel interpreted the unknown dream for Nebuchadnezzer, then Nebuchadnezzer immediately turned around and made an exact replica of the gold head he was supposed to represent in the dream; then making people worship it? So strange… Daniel 3:1-6

Death happens when ‘yes men’ surround leaders. Daniel 3:8-15

Miracles happen when there is no other conviction than to trust in God no matter what. Daniel 3:19-27

Nebuchadnezzer just doesn’t get it, does he? After the miracle of the furnace he wants to ‘cut to pieces’ all who now don’t worship the God of Shadrach, Meshack and Abendnego. Geez. Daniel 3:29
