9-3-09: Too many dreams of tomorrow’s greatness and too many words to describe them are meaningless to God. They only tear you away from Him. Ecc 5:7

Those seeking money and fame will never have enough of either. Be content in God. Ecc 5:10

Naked you’re born; naked you’ll die. Tell me then, what good was making work/ministry your #1 priority if you can’t take it with you? Ecc 5:15-17

Here’s a note to living people: You’re going to die someday. Stop looking back in life at the ‘good old days’ and start living it. Ecc 7:2-10

Listen up: Having an answer for everything in every situation destroys your relationship with God! Ecc 7:16

“There is not a righteous man on earth who does what is right and never sins.” Ecc 7:20

When people talk trash about you remember that you know you’ve talked trash about someone as well. Ecc 7:21-22

Can you take your praise with you when you die? Then why did you seek it out and try to accumulate it? Ecc 8:10

9-2-09: You can be the most Godly man on earth in wisdom and power, but you’ll still be unfulfilled in your quest for perfection. Ecc 1-2

Whether a fool or a saint, you’ll still one day breathe no more. Humanity is equal in God’s eyes. Ecc 2:16

Put your work in perspective: it will still continue after you’re gone. Prioritize carefully. Ecc 2:17-33

Neither wealth nor hard work brings true contentment. Only God can do that. Ecc 4:7-8

Don’t ever say “yes” if you don’t mean to fulfill that “yes”. Ecc 5:5
